Kilkenny County Council, in partnership with Cairn and the Department of Housing, Local Government & Heritage, is delighted to launch a Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme at Nyne Park, Kilkenny City.

Through the Local Authority Affordable Purchase Scheme, a limited number of 3-bedroom homes will be made available for purchase for successful applicants at a price lower than its market value. In return, Kilkenny County Council will take a percentage equity interest in the home equal to the difference between the open market value of the home and the price paid by you. So, if you secure a 20% discount off the market value of the home, the Council will take a 20% equity interest in the property.

Nyne Park is situated in an ideal location just off the Callan Road and is a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive to the city centre and a 15-minute cycle to Kilkenny’s MacDonagh Rail Station. The Kilkenny Ring Road is close by, giving easy access to Dublin via the M9 making Nyne Park the perfect location for commuters of all kinds.
